We started JobOptix because our friends — smart, hard-working people — were getting filtered out by software before anyone read their resume. That was broken. We set out to fix it.
Our story
Three engineers, two career pivots, one painful job hunt. In 2023, we kept hearing the same story from friends: "I applied to 40 places. I heard back from one." We dug in. Found that 75% of resumes never reach a human. Realized "just try harder" wasn't the answer. Better tools were.
We built the first version over a weekend. Showed it to 20 friends. They shipped it to 50 friends. Within two months we had 3,000 users and real interview calls coming in. In 2024 we launched publicly. Today: 500,000+ resumes built, 14,000+ reviews, an average 4.9 stars.
We're still a small team. We still read every support email. We still believe the thing we started with: serious job seekers deserve better tools.
